Don’t rush your bed purchase. Try them all, discuss everything, be sure.
Check the support. When lying on a mattress you should be able to slide your hand comfortably between the base of your spine and the mattress surface.
A great investment. Keep your bed for ten years and the £2,000 you spend will have cost 55p a night. A small price to pay, surely, for a decade of sumptuous comfort and refreshing sleep.
Think bigger. Choose the largest you have room for. The standard 135x190cm double bed really isn’t big enough for two people to sleep without disturbing each other. Studies have shown that more space can make a big difference to your sleep.
Think ahead. If access to your bedroom is tricky, we are happy to make bases in multiple pieces to allow access up staircases and into awkward spaces.
