1.42mm wire springs 60mm in diameter in individual sewn cotton calico pockets, hand formed into a honeycomb nested unit. Constructed with two layers of springs.
Mattress Border
23cm deep with three rows of genuine hand side-stitching. Eight horizontal handles on King Size and above. Air vents on all sizes. Border edges upholstered with coir and lambswool, and finished with piped ticking.
Mattress Upholstery
Upholstered with 1,000 gsm* bonded lambswool and cotton and then 1,200 gsm hand-teased loose long-stranded horsehair blended together with lambswool enclosed in a hairproof cambric cover, and overlaid with a layer of 1,200 gsm blended lambswool and cotton.
